Brisbane Lions Have Re Signed Exciting Utility Shadeau Brain On A New Two Year Deal Keeping Him At The Gabba Until The End Of The 2026 Season

Brain Remains A Lion Until 2026

Brisbane Lions have re-signed exciting utility Shadeau Brain on a new two-year deal keeping him at the Gabba until the end of the 2026 season.

Brain, 21, has played 34 games for the Lions since making his debut in 2021, and has become a valuable member of the team with his versatility and ability to play in a variety of roles.

The South Australian product has shown his potential to be a damaging player in the forward line, but has also spent time in the midfield and defence, where his athleticism and footy IQ have been on show.

Lions Football Manager Danny Daly said Brain's commitment to the Club was a sign of his belief in what the team was building.

"We're really pleased that Shadeau has committed to the Lions for the next two years," Daly said.

"He's a talented young player who has already shown his versatility and ability to play a number of roles for us.

"We're excited to see what the future holds for Shadeau, and we believe he can play an important role in our team's success."

Brain said he was thrilled to extend his contract with the Lions.

"I'm loving my time at the Lions and I'm excited about what the future holds for this team," Brain said.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue my career in Brisbane, and I'm looking forward to playing my part in the team's success."
